Play-Well TEKnologies: STEM Discovery and Innovations Using Lego
GRADES K THRU 2: Stem Discovery
Unleash your creativity with tens of thousands of Lego pieces at your fingertips! Build engineer-designed projects as we discover the world around us through our inquiry based learning model.
Dates: Thursdays from October 16-November 20
Time: 3:15 to 4:15 PM

GRADES 3 THRU 5: Stem Innovations
Design and innovate with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects and an inquiry-based learning classroom model. Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that both new and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system.
Dates: Tuesdays from October 14-November 25 (no session on November 11)
Time: 3:15-4:15 PM

Theater and Dance with the Sharon Playhouse
Children will work with actor/educators from the Sharon Playhouse as they learn how to stage a professional performance for a live audience!
- Third and fourth graders will spend 10 sessions learning to act in a dramatic performance. This program will end with a production week, which includes rehearsals, costuming and sets, and a final performance for the school community!
- Kindergarten through 2nd grade will learn dance steps and choreography and how to express themselves through movement. They will also have a production week and end their 10 session program with a performance for the school community.
